NIghtime in Hanoi part2

Some random pictures from my cycling journeys getting lost around the city. As anyone who has cycled in Asia can tell you the experience can be quite frustrating as 'free-for-all' at junctions and constant hootings are the norm, dodgy brakes dont help either i suppose.

I was really impressed by this guys mobile karaoke system, it even had wireless microphone so that his partner could croon the pavement diners, and the flashy silver stickers where a bonus.

After this i thought i wouldnt see any more interesting street happenings, but then i stumbled on a square with numerous breakdancing, popping [form of breakdancing], skateboarding and inline skating groups practising. All overlooked by a Lenin statue and the sound of various small amplifiers blasting out some very good funk, electro and breaks....The poppers were especially enthusiastic and relentless, only stopping when their amplifier battery died. I have seen skateboarding in old communist squares in Bulgaria but this was on another scale.
